Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to classical and old boleros, as well as traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is a lover of opera and tangos, along with any dramatic performance. Ana began to learn how to play and sing at an early age with her mother. She was given more formal training in singing at the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with many chamber groups and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After relocating to America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before making the move to her current home in southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. In addition to being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her active in a variety of projects. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor of the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
