Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working in TV and film is well known for movies like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her showbiz career early. Her roles included lead characters in TV dramas as young as 16 years old. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge in Downfall. This film received nominations for an Oscar and received critical and commercial success. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the beautiful diva. Alexandra is engaged in numerous noteworthy projects, both in the United States and internationally. This includes the British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical miniseries Napoleon among others. She also served part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
